Here's my opinion on it. It's great for teaching tempo. Especially if you tend to jerk the club back. As far as the rest, it's not as good as the infomercial. My issue is that while the clun will break down if you go off plane, unless you have someone watching you it's very difficult to tell where it broke. Each place it breaks represents a certain flaw. The manual goes over this. By yourself, you really only can tell if the club broke before impact or after impact.

My point is it's not very easy to identify where the flaw is. Personally, I would look for a used one on eBay. I sold mine on there. I would never buy retail price, ebay or craigslist is the way to go. I was just curious, I heard good things about it. I was not mentioning the weighted one.

I really dont see why someone would get the 5 and 7 iron, seems weird. Thanks for all the replys though, appreciate it. David in FL February 20, Awards, Achievements, and Accolades. Many people believe, including Leadbettor, that the Medicus encourages too slow a backswing which affects the natural hinging and setting of the club early and ultimately hurts the overall tempo. So I took my time during a few swings to be on the safe side. Turns out the slower you go the more the hinge breaks down.

After a few swings I stopped being a little girl and swung like a would off the tee during a round, and to my surprise the club held together, no concussion or flying clubhead. The thing felt pretty tough unlike earlier.

To my surprise, after I took a few real swings with the Medicus Driver, I tried out my own driver and it seemed a lot easier to hit than normal. Then loosen and practice some more of your own swings at your own tempo. The goal of this golf training club is to help you reinforce your own swing so the tightness of the hinges depends on each individual player. Although I have played golf for almost forty years and for a few years carried a single digit handicap, I believe the Medicus Training clubs are the best single device for developing, grooving, and maintaining a fundamentally sound golf swing.

One of the questions I get a lot is how tight to adjust the adjustable hinge? Your email address will not be published. Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment. Medicus Dual Hinge Driver Review. Can a golf club that breaks really help you? Dual Hinge Driver Customer Satisfaction:. If you start the downswing by snapping your wrists, or throwing your shoulders outside the line one of the most common causes of a slice the club will break down. Now transfer your weight to your left side as you swing down. Keeping your weight back on your right side at impact for a right-handed player , another common cause of slicing the ball, will cause the club to break down.

Complete the follow through to a high, natural finish. If you truncate your follow through or fail to properly release the club through the ball, it will break down. This means you can alter the amount of precision required to make a successful swing as you progress. You can use the club for practice swings or to actually hit real balls.
